The SeaLife SportDiver Underwater Smartphone Housing For Android & iPhones. The Sportdiver Housing gives you the chance to use your phone’s high quality camera underwater. It enables you to utilise the photo and video features built into your iPhone or Android Smartphone while diving. The big news is the SportDiver housing does this in a new and improved way!
The guys at SeaLife have built a Bluetooth controller into the housing. By using the free SeaLife App, the Bluetooth controller takes control of your Android or iPhone Smartphone! The combination of a modern phone and market leading housing creates a superb performing underwater camera.
The clever part is that the Bluetooth controller means that you have a single large shutter lever on the housing (for video and stills). Additionally, you have 4 function buttons that are easy for a diver to operate, and the whole unit is waterproof to 40m.
So what if it floods we hear you ask?
Well, SeaLife have been building very reliable dive camera housings for some time. Which is reassuring in itself! But the best part is the housing has both a moisture detection and pressure change alarm system. They detect a possible leak and warn you before it floods.
In the extremely unlikely event a leak should begin to occur, the housing warns you visually and audibly so there is little chance of flooding. Additionally, before diving, the diver has a vacuum pump to extract air from the housing. Once this is done the SportDiver housing does a self-test for 3 minutes or so to ensure there is a good seal.

SeaLife SportDiver Housing More Details
The new SeaLife SportDiver housing allows divers to take photos and video with their iPhone or Android Smartphone down to 40 meters. The heavy-duty housing is constructed of Polycarbonate, stainless steel, aluminum and optical grade glass.
While the SportDiver housing is heavy duty in terms of ruggedness, it weighs less than 641 grams! So the housing is both heavy duty and lightweight for travelling. The SportDiver is almost neutrally buoyant in water depending on which iPhone model is used.
The SportDiver is easy to hold and use and offers a large shutter lever and rear control buttons for easy operation, even with dive gloves. Snorkelers and Divers can get more creative with their photos or video shot by using advanced camera settings like these (If available on your phone model).
