Scubapro MK17 Evo G260 Regulator – A Technical Diving Regulator

The Scubapro MK17 G260 regulator is an ideal regulator for tech divers and deep diving. The MK17 is a completely sealed first stage which is perfect for cold waters and has optimal routing options.

Combined with the Scubapro G260, a balanced adjustable second stage, that features metal components for excellent cold water resistance. Scubapro have made the G260 inlet tube, orifice inhalation, control knob and hose connector from metal to aid heat sync.

The G260’s high performance makes it a choice for all demanding divers and it will be the natural choice for G250 fans. The left-right hose attachment option makes it ideally suited for tech diving configurations.

Scubapro MK17 G260 Regulator – Features

  • A high performance balanced diaphragm first stage regulator the Scubapro MK17 has been engineered for harsh environments and for use in ice cold water or polluted environments. Resistance to cold has indeed been a key element in the engineering of the MK17.
  • The Diaphragm Technology. Diaphragm-based first stages are environmentally sealed so that water cannot enter the inner mechanism. Bearing in mind that regulators generate temperatures up to minus 30°C due to the incredibly fast moving air and the pressure drop involved it is imperative that sensitive moving metal parts avoid contact with extremely cold water.
  • Therefore diaphragm first stages have been the favoured choice of cold-water divers and those working in contaminated or muddy water. SCUBAPRO diaphragm first stages feature balanced technology and are packed with patented features resulting in ultra fast flow to the second stage on demand and a fantastic overall performance.
  • G260 balanced adjustable second stage with metal components for improved cold water performance.
  • Left and Right hose mounting options make it ideally suited for technical twinset diving.
  • Larger body make this a great choice for UK diving and it follow the traditionally popular G250
