Scubapro Multi Function Alluminium Divers Reel, a high quality multi functioning reel from Scubapro can be used for most diving tasks. The frame is made from annodised aluminium making it incredbly rugged while the spool is a nylon / fibreglass material so it doesnt shatter when dropped or knocked, combined these 2 make for a very tough and hard wearing reel. The reel is compact in design and has a folding handle which makes it realtively easy to store in a BCD pocket.
The setup of the spool and handle make it easy to reel in line and there is a quick adjustment built into the handle to allow free spinning or to provide friction to reduce the spool feeding. The reel is easy enough to use with gloves and lightweight enough to travel with.
With 75m of decent line this reel from Scubapro can work well for SMB deployment or drift diving and can also be used with the breaking and resisitance set higher as a navigation line on wreck dives or possible for wreck penetration dives if you are trained apporpriately!
