The whole idea of the PADI Discover Scuba Diving experience is to give non divers the opportunity to find out if they like the idea of being able to breathe underwater! The session gets you aquainted with the equipment and some of the basic safety concepts of diving and then, most importantly, gets you taking your first breaths underwater! The whole experience is conducted by professional diving instructors and is held at a variety of swimming pools around South Devon, Plymouth, Exeter, Torbay and into Cornwall.
Once you’ve taken your first breaths underwater you’ll know if diving is for you!
How Does It Work?

Once we receive your order we will contact you with venues and dates that are available and arrange for the most suitable session for you to experience scuba diving! What Does The PADI Discover Scuba Diving Experience Include?
- Meet the instructor running the session
- Safety briefing with instructor on poolside and explanation of the equipment and what’s going to happen
- Sized and fitted with equipment by the team
- Get kitted up and in the water
- That First Breath Underwater under the close supervision of the instructing team
- A few basic safety skills underwater
- Off to play and enjoy the diving experience!
- Out of the water debrief, and follow up
- Session duration: 2hrs expected time in the water 70-90 mins
