Convection Channel (NCC) system increases the performance in cold water.
The superior thermal conductivity of carbon reduces theย condensation of humidity in the exhaled breath thereby diminishing the dry mouth feeling at the end of the dive. Mares Carbon 52 is perfect for any type of diving. Ideal placement of hoses combined with an extremely soft andย light Superflex hose makes it the lightest second stage on the market.

- Double DFC Ports – Dynamic Flow Control – Minimizes intermediate pressure drop during inhalation thus maximizing gas delivery especially under extreme conditions.

- ACT Valve – Advanced Coating Technology – The new valve in the โฌลXโฌย systems increases durability by an astounding 600% even under the most extreme conditions.
- NCC Technology – Natural Convection Channel – Increases cold water performance by creating a flow of water across the regulator. The flow is driven by the change of density in water with temperature.
- Carbon Second Stage
- VAD System – Vortex Assisted Design – The air bypass tube delivers air to the mouthpiece creating a swirling vortex with a low pressure area in the center that keeps the diaphragm down during inhalation for very sensitive and easy breathing at all depths.
- Extremely Lightweight – The Carbon Second Stage weighs only 197gm combined with a DIN 52x First stage the total weight is only 857gm (A-Clamp is still only 1034gm)
