Description
Fourth Element Rec Fin – Diving Fins Made From Recycled Materials
Fourth Element Rec Fin – Recycled Divers Fins, Made With 100% Recycled Materials. The Rec Fin is a great fin for all divers and being Ocean Positive helps keep plastics out of the ocean.
Fourth Element’s Rec Fins are the first diving fins to be made from recycled post consumer plastic waste. With a fully recycled plastic blade, and fin pocket the only part of the Rec Fin not made from recycled material is the strap and buckle!
The Rec Fins have a classic and well proven 4 channel blade design. This gives great performance for divers while being Ocean Positive, minimising the impact on the environment. The 4 channel blade design generates thrust and propulsion on both the down and the up stroke of the divers finning action.
The blade stiffening ribs ensure the Rec Fin is both stiff enough to be efficient but flexible enough to not wear the diver out!

A Bit More About The Rec Fin Being Ocean Positive
It is the unique combination of materials which makes the Rec Fin fin special. The plastic is made from 97% reclaimed post-consumer waste polypropylene and the rubber is made with recycled TPR (Thermoplastic Rubber). By using materials in this way, Fourth Element are preventing plastic being sent to landfill or ending up as waste in the ocean!
