Fourth Element Arctic Expedition Women’s Thermal Top , with warm, water-resistant chest panel and sleeve panels, the Fourth Element Arctic Expedition top combines body-mapped enhanced insulation with practical considerations for the dive.
The windproof chest panel eliminates the rush of cold air when pressing the chest inflate valve. The bungee cord thumb loops ensure that the sleeves do not ride up when donning the drysuit, but retract to prevent them becoming trapped in your drysuit wrist seal.
We also find the windproof chest panels are great if you get a little water ingress around the neck as the material is hydrophobic and displaces the water! The arctic Expedition range really is a step up in drysuit undersuit technology and is well worth the extra cost.
Fourth Element Arctic Expedition takes the Arctic Range to a new level bringing together Fourth Elements knowledge of performance fabrics and body-mapped design to create a new undersuit in our expedition series.
Enhanced insulation is provided in key exposure areas by extra layers of high-density fleece and water-resistant, windproof panels.
The outer fabric is protected with a ceramic print to minimise any effect of abrasion from the inside of the drysuits, and water-resistant fabric provides further protection to the knees and seat: invaluable when getting ready on a wet dive deck. Unique thumb loops prevent the sleeves riding up when donning the drysuit, but retract to prevent them being caught in the wrist seals.
A zipped hip pocket is positioned for ease of access whilst wearing a cross zip drysuit, without needing to remove the suit and is ideal for carrying a key. Handwarmer pockets on the leggings provide additional comfort. Pre-drilled for p-valves.
