Designed with technical diving in mind, the Apeks LifeLine Spool is a rugged, high-performance finger spool built for reliable line deployment in a wide range of diving applications. Whether you're using it for a DSMB, safety stop, navigation, wreck diving, cave diving or general-purpose diving, the LifeLine combines durable construction with clever features that make it easy to handle, even when wearing thick wet or dry gloves.

Machined from a single piece of aircraft-grade anodised aluminium, the Apeks LifeLine Spool is built to withstand the demands of serious diving while remaining compact and easy to carry. Its unique flared design and rubber outer grip provide excellent control when deploying and winding the spool, while the large shaped centre hole makes it easy to operate with gloved hands.

The spool is supplied with high-quality, high-visibility orange line, making it easier to see in low-light underwater conditions. The line is sewn rather than simply tied to increase strength, while a high-tensile line leader helps protect the main line when tying off. A line swivel is also fitted to help reduce twisting and prevent unwanted line entanglement during deployment.

An included stainless-steel bolt snap provides a secure and convenient attachment point, while easy-release pull tabs make the spool simple to access when needed. The LifeLine is deliberately not over-wound, allowing additional line to be added if required.
