The LifeLine Spool features a unique flared design with an integrated rubber outer grip, making it easier to hold, deploy and wind while wearing wet or dry gloves. The large shaped centre hole provides plenty of room for gloved fingers, helping you maintain control when handling the spool underwater.

Constructed from a single piece of aircraft-grade aluminium, the spool is both rugged and lightweight. Its anodised coating provides additional durability, making it well suited to the demands of technical and recreational diving.

The spool is supplied with high-quality, high-visibility orange line, making it particularly useful in low-light underwater conditions. The line is sewn rather than tied to improve strength, while a high-tensile line leader helps protect the main line when tying off. A built-in swivel helps minimise twisting and reduces the risk of line entanglement during deployment.

The Apeks LifeLine Spool also includes a stainless-steel bolt snap for secure attachment and easy-release pull tabs for quick access when needed. The spool is deliberately not over-wound, allowing you to add extra line if required.
