Airgun Charging Cylinders

Airgun charging cylinders – 300Bar fitted with non diving cylinder valves. These valves tend to have a gauge and bleed system built in and preferably have a reduced flow rate to enable the decanting of air to charge the airgun or paintball gun more slowly and controlled. This in turn reduces fatigue on the airguns built in cylinder and gives a better fill!

Airgun users prefer high pressure lower volume cylinders so standard dive cylinders like a 12L 232bar cylinder are not ideal. The airgun user usually fills the airgun internal cylinder to about 200bar. This fires well to about 150bar and then needs topping up. As the internal cylinder is so small the volume of air used from the charging cylinder is not great. However….. The user needs to keep the pressure over 200bar to be able to decant successfully, hence smaller cylinders with higher pressure.
